Our Partners

NORMAN A. KROPP is the Managing Partner of the Firm and has been associated with the Firm since 1988. He is a graduate of Drexel University, a Certified Public Accountant since 1976, and a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. His background includes a broad range of diverse business experience in both the private and public accounting sectors, including government, local townships and governmental entities, non-profit, manufacturing, and the service industries. His audit background includes extensive experience at a large international public accounting firm, as well as approximately twenty years’ audit experience of public housing authorities, not-for-profit organizations, local governments, federal and state-funded behavioral health programs, and county-related governmental funds. Mr. Kropp has served on the governing boards of a local mental health provider and of the Greater Philadelphia ALS Association.

DAVID J. BARRETT is a graduate of Rutgers University, a certified public accountant, and a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and is the firm’s Director of Audit. He specializes in governmental accounting and the related financial reporting requirements and oversees the firm’s local government practice area. He has been involved in performing audits and in providing consulting services to numerous large and small public and private companies. He also has a wide range of diverse business experience in both the private and public accounting sectors, including personal and business taxation, manufacturing, government, insurance, government contracting and the service industries. He has substantial consulting experience and expertise in auditing, internal auditing, and local businesses. Mr. Barrett was formerly a member of a large international accounting firm and is currently on the board of a local Rotary Club.

JOHN R. HANNA, III is a partner in the firm. He graduated from Widener University and has a B.S. in Accounting. He is a certified public accountant with over 23 years of experience in the public accounting sector. Mr. Hanna is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, the National Society of Accountants and the Pennsylvania Society of Tax & Accounting Professionals. He has substantial experience in tax compliance, small business accounting and consulting and auditing of not for profit and local government entities. Mr. Hanna is currently serving a second four-year term on the Rose Tree Media School District’s Board of School Directors. He served a total of four years as Board President. Mr. Hanna is also a member of the Delaware County Advisory Board for the Bryn Mawr Trust Company. Mr. Hanna previously served as a member of the Rose Tree Media School District’s Act 1 Tax Study Commission and also served as the elected Treasurer for the Media Youth Center in which he was a member of the Center’s Executive Committee. Mr. Hanna also served as the appointed Auditor for Middletown Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.

RAYMOND J. GUTOWSKI is a Partner of the firm. He is a graduate of King’s College, from which he received a B.S. in Accounting. He is a CPA and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has broad experience in providing accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting services to clients in both the public and private business sectors. He has served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and as a member of the Editorial Board of the Pennsylvania CPA Journal. He has authored and had published articles on accounting subjects and conducted seminars and delivered presentations on accounting, auditing, tax, and business matters. He was formerly a principal at a large international accounting firm and has also served as Chief Financial Officer of a large, publicly owned corporation. Mr. Gutowski is the Treasurer and a member of the Board of the Delaware County Hero Scholarship Fund.
