Our Professional Staff
JOHN R. HANNA, III is the Managing Partner of the firm and has been associated with the firm since 1992. He graduated from Widener University and has a B.S. in Accounting. He is a certified public accountant with over 26 years of experience in the public accounting sector. Mr. Hanna is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, the National Society of Accountants and the Pennsylvania Society of Tax & Accounting Professionals. He has substantial experience in tax compliance, small business accounting and consulting and auditing of not for profit and local government entities. Mr. Hanna currently serves on the Middletown Township Sewer Authority Board as the Board Treasurer and serves on the Delaware County Hero Scholarship Board as the Treasurer. He previously served eight years on the Rose Tree Media School District's Board of School Directors and served four years as the Board President. In addition, Mr. Hanna formerly served on the Delaware County Advisory Board of the Bryn Mawr Trust Company and served as a member of the Rose Tree Media School District's Act 1 Tax Study Commission. Mr. Hanna also served as the elected Treasurer for the Media Youth Center and served as a member of the Center's Executive Committee. In addition he previously served as the appointed Auditor for Middletown Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
DAVID J. BARRETT is a graduate of Rutgers University, a certified public accountant, and a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and is the firm’s Director of Audit. He specializes in governmental accounting and the related financial reporting requirements and oversees the firm’s local government practice area. He has been involved in performing audits and in providing consulting services to numerous large and small public and private companies. He also has a wide range of diverse business experience in both the private and public accounting sectors, including personal and business taxation, manufacturing, government, insurance, government contracting and the service industries. He has substantial consulting experience and expertise in auditing, internal auditing, and local businesses. Mr. Barrett was formerly a member of a large international accounting firm, currently serves on the board of a local homeowners' association and has served on the board of a local Rotary Club.
Drew M. Hanna has been associated with the firm since 2019. He is a graduate of Cabrini University where he received his Masters in Accounting in 2020. He has experience in auditing local government and not for profit entities, business and personal income tax preparation, and small business accounting. He is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and a former member of the Accounting Associates at Cabrini University.
Ryan H. Schultz joined the firm in January of 2022. He is a graduate of both Widener University and Penn State University with a Masters degree in Accounting in 2021. He is developing an expertise in individual tax preparation as well auditing the many business and government entities we serve. He is also a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. Ryan has a passion for working and interacting with our clients to help serve their needs.
